Large Quantity of States

I'm going to be using a large number of states (30-50) for a state parameter that is user selectable. There will then be some math channels that need to do something different depending on the state selected. 

Are there any performance problems to be expected by having this many states? Or is this totally acceptable?

Hi Barnhart,

My advice would  be as follows:

MC modules - be very careful. Test it and keep a close eye on memory and flash at all times. 

MD4 - no need to worry. There are plenty of resources.

Have you also considered how intuitive a SP with 50 options will be when it comes to the user making a selection ?
