backlight changing
Has anyone used any hardware to automatically change the back lighting of the IQAN displays (MD5 MD4 and MD3) automatically with the change of ambient light outside on a vehicle? I have a customer asking the best way to do this, any suggestions or assistance from anyone? Please let me know thanks.

The use of a LDR(Light Dependent Resistor) is the most common way, and very easy. Just 5V, LDR and a resistor will be needed. Connect a filter channel to the VIN to remove any fast changes of lights.
