DOUT over curent

Hi all, recently built a 24V power-supplied machine with 4 HS DOUTs driving solenoids. Swapped with 12V solenoids unintentionally, and now 2 are not responding. Also, one of them is providing 24V output without any command. Did anybody ran into this issue before ? There is not any protection to limit output current ?
