In 4.06 I do not see a value in the CRC channel when using Measure or Simulate. Do we have to look on the CAN bus?

Yes, to see the counter and checksum values, you will have to look at the bus with e.g. IQANanalyze.

For incoming CAN frames, the GFIN/JPIN and all connected parameters will be set to error status if the checksum is incorrect.

IQANsimulate will only simulate correct values.
