Thank you for the info it was helpful, I have another question when using the IQAN run app it will ask for a password when downloading the machine software from email but if I use IQAN sync it does not ask for a password it will just save it to manage files.
IQANrun and IQANsync should behave the same when opening a file attached to an email, i.e. ask for password if needed. Please note that the password is remembered during an app session if it has been entered once. It can also be stored in the app's password database, which means you don't have to enter it anymore.
The apps are described in the user manual for IQANrun for PC.
