Generic "Get All Logs" Action in IQANScript

JamesV 7 years ago in IQANscript updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 3 years ago 7

Hi,

Is it possible when using a script to login and get logs, to just get all logs without having to pick them from the application? I'd like to make 1 generic script that logs in with the Root access and gets all logs for a long list of projects that have differently named logs and different arrangements.

thanks,

It would be helpful if you could have embedded scripts have their own reference application. This way within one master script you can have subroutines with their own reference project so the master script file can work on several different applications depending on multiple choice selections in IQANrun.

Under review

Had some recent conversations about this. Currently the script action points to the specific log, with a generic get all logs action one script could be used for several different machine models with different project files.

Will this be added to IqanRun and IqanGo?

The plan right now is to make it as a script operation in IQANscript, which would make it possible to use with IQANrun but not with IQANgo.

Can you make that a feature request for IqanRun and IqanGo without the use of IqanScript?

Completed

The first idea is implemented in IQANscript 6.08, a get all logs function as a script action.
