Multi Master Ethernet

I want to check if there is a benefit to connect the Ethernet ports on MD4 and MC4x with a switch in a Multi-Master layout or to prepare for a coming feature?

Really interesting question! 

We have thoughts along these lines, the address range for the MD4 on port B is set as a preparation for that kind of in vehicle Ethernet network. 


But I think it is too soon to give advice on the forum on adding hardware to a machine in preparation for this.
