Are terminal resistors needed when programming MD4's or do they already have an internal termination resistor?

MD4 modules have software selectable termination resistors on all CAN buses, if you have not changed this they will be on the default setting to terminate. 

Note that when sending application to MD4, it is much faster to use Ethernet than using CAN.
