Software License Key for Design 5 - backwards compatible for creative studio 4, 3,2?

If a customer purchases a license for Design 5 (only, not developer suite), should the license key work for creative studio 4, 3, 2?

He needs Design functionality in old programs as well.

Yes, the IQANdesign 5 license works for IQAN Creative Studio 2, 3 and 4. (IQANdesign 2, 3, 4, IQANrun 2,3, 4, IQANsimulate 2, 3, 4)

The IQANdesign 5 license does not work for IQANrun 5, that requires a separate license.

An old Studio license (e.g. IQAN Creative Studio) can be used with IQANrun 5, so it is a good idea to hold on to that old license.
