Source Address for TSC1 CAN message to Cummins and MTU engines

Tony Nguyen 6 years ago in IQANdesign updated by RAJU ARULSELVAM 3 weeks ago 4

Hello Everyone,

I'm working on CAN messages for Torque Control on Cummins and MTU engines. I appreciate for any information regarding specific Source Address (SA) required for these types of engine (MTU and Cummins).

Thanks in advance.

+1

If the IQAN default value of 39 (management computer)  isn't working, try 33 (body controller).

Our Cummins engines have always used source address 0. Although, I don't know if it is specific to our engine calibrations.

Thanks very much for your responses to my question. After several tests with different SA, we finally find out a problem with CAN bus hardware issue and resolve it, and things are back to normal. Thanks again, Gustav and Chris.

Hello Sir,

I am currently using a DEIF AGC 150 controller with a Cummins QSK95-G10 engine, but I am unable to control the engine speed.
I am not sure if I need to configure or set the source address to enable proper control.

Please advise.
