Is there any plan to support H.264 camera video format? It is too hard to find any new camera still supporting MJPEG. They are all now in H.264 format.



H.264 support is very unlikely, since there is no hardware support for it in the MD4.

Also, MJPEG is more fault tolerant than H.264. Since there is no dependency between the frames in MJPEG, an MJPEG video is robust, meaning that if one frame is dropped during transmission, the rest of the video will not be affected. This is important when used as a reversing camera for instance.
