About CAN interfaces

Hi,

I had two questions about connect to IQAN master modules via CAN bus for diagnostic and program update:

1) Can we use PCAN-miniPCI or PCAN-miniPCIe cards of PEAK-system?

2) Can we use Innodisk EMUC-B202? This product does not appear in the following models.

What should we do if we want to use such a product? Do you have any suggestions?

One of developers would have to answer this conclusively, but I would guess that option #1 should work. Those cards use the same driver package and PCAN-Basic API that IQAN uses to interface with the "recommended" PCAN-USB (see https://forum.iqan.se/communities/1/topics/991-can-adapter-connectivity-issue).

Never tried the PCI-versions of the PEAK adapters, but as Patrick wrote it should work since PEAK use the same API on their devices.

The device from Innodisk won't work, no interface to their API has been implemented in the IQAN tools.
