variable storage
I recently lost a few adjust group variables after about a month of the unit being off. Are adjust group values being stored in volatile memory?

The settings memory is stored in a non-volatile memory, all IQAN masters are designed to keep settings when the module is off.
What master module was this on?
For a general overview of what would clear settings, see the section "Settings kept during software update" in the Adjust groups chapter in the IQANdesign user manual.
Thanks for the response! The problem occurred on an MC43 controller. It seems as though all of the adjust groups were reset, but no software was loaded. It was simply off for a while.
Very hard to guess what this could be.
Only some settings like ECNT and TMR have functionality for resetting with application logic.
For channels like FP, a user with access would have to use the IQANrun or IQAN-MD4 menu system to reset, and that can only be done per adjust group or adjust itme.
One thing you can check is if the system log has any instances of checksum error on adjust items?
I'll take a look the next time I talk to the client.
