Reset/clear GPIN value

Is there a way to reset a Generic parameter in channel.
For example if I use a GPIN as a digital signal and it is set to 1 (true) and then iI I disable the function group containing the GPIN it will become 0 (false) but when i enable the FG again it goes back to the value 1 (true) again.
I want to be able to clear the GPIN from IQAN itself without being dependant of the issuer on the CAN-bus to clear it.

You could try sending the GPIN into a memory channel and then control the resetting logic to give you the functionality you need.
