set VDIN to true on startup
Is there a way to set a VDIN to true on startup. I have several mode selections on my MD4 and i would like it to default to one of them. There is no way i am aware of to set the VDIN true from an internal digital or anything other then touching the screen.

No, the reset value of a VDIN is always false.
The Digital Parameter channel has a default value, but the DP cannot be connected to a button like the VDIN can. The DP wouldn't be an option also because it cannot be reset via application logic (to reset an on-off parameter you'd need to use a MEM).
Sounds as if you are looking at making some button panel for setting the mode? Maybe an image selector with multiple modes, and placing transparent buttons to match it. More work of course.
Yes that is what i'm doing. Ill try as you said. Would be nice if there was an option for a reset to true and a reset to false. Then as soon as the module is turned on it could reset to desired setting.
