External Function Name Property

I am adding external functions to my main project, but it shows the name property is read-only as shown in the picture. Is there a way to change the property to change name property?

To change the name of the external, edit it via Project->properties in the .idex file

In the application view, where you add an instance of a function group from the external project, the name of that instance can be edited.
