Software upgrade 6.05/06
We are having issues which started with 6.05.( same results 6.06) Upgrading program software with MD4 and Mc43 via Md4 ethernet port, it proceeds till loading up Mc43 then says no contact and stops. Only fix we found is load up through Can adapter or Bluetooth( can take few hours) Anyone else have issues upgrading through ethernet?

As a test, try this:
1. Grab a copy of the settings from the machine for reference.
2. Send a settings file with all settings set back to the default using CAN adapter
3. Send the new project file via ethernet connected to the MD4.
4. Resend the copy of the settings once the project is updated.

Old post but worth another look.
If there was other CAN traffic on the Diagnostics bus during SW update, that could have explained the problem.
There was another post here, where a J1939 device on the Diagnostics bus caused problem during update of the MC4.
With version 6.08, that problem is avoided.
