Online Edits
It would be nice to be able to go online with the PLC and make changes. Our system is getting pretty robust in design and it would be a great troubleshooting tool. It also would be in line with what some other automation companies are doing, such as Rockwell and Siemens.

I have seen this functionality exists on some industrial PLC:s, but I do not think it is a good feature for IQANdesign, as IQANdesign is many times used for implementing safety functions.
When analyzing the IQAN system using the IEC 61508 standard for functional safety, IQANdesign is specifically classified as an off-line software support tool.
