external virtual digital button control

Is there any simple solution to control a virtual digital button from a second display? Like an external button control? I would like to set up two identical pages on two ID-4 displays. The non critical functions shall be enabled and disabled from either display..

No, you can only use external buttons to reset a VDIN channel, not activate them.

But what you could do is to not have the buttons set to toggle and then have a internal digital channel  that gets activated/deactivated by the positive flank of either of the VDIN on you displays. you will need to send at lesast one of the VDIN channels to the other master to do this (Appin/Appout or your own setup).
