Is IQAN compatible with UDS communication ?

There is (currently) no built-in support for UDS in IQANdesign. 

Is this a subsystem you are looking at integrating, to diagnose via UDS? 

Or a separate service tool to diagnose IQAN via UDS? 

Hello, thanks for the answer. Yes, it is a fully integrated vehicle dashboard that uses quote ''EOL programming and diagnosis via UDS on IP and UDS on CAN.'' We just want to know if it is something compatible with our Parker system and notably IQAN to see if it is a solution worth pursuing.

Ok, you will need a separate tool for flashing software to that device. 

For runtime diagnostics of the device you may be able to implement some simple get value operations using generic CAN. But a it would be so much easier if you had a device with J1939 signals. 

Yeah, it was not mentioned on the spec sheet if it was J1939 compatible so I asked the supplier for J1939 compatibility and they said that it is compatible finally. They also mentioned that they have a DBC file proper to the module. So, in that case, communication with it should be fine. Updates and modifications for the software on the device itself  will be done by the supplier based on what we want from the module.
