IQAN 7.01: the font lacks characters

Hello,

I have just switched a project on IQAN design and I get the following warning:

Is this a bug? This is the same issue no matter what font I selected.

You probably have a character somewhere that does not exist in the default font.

The effect will be that it does not show on the real MD4, but depending on what the character is it might be showing in simulator.

The tricky thing will be finding the text with the character. The project check only points to the font, not the text with the missing character.

Before 7.00, the font check did not flag up a warning if Greek characters were used with the default font, that may give a clue on where to look.

I’m experiencing the same issue. I have no idea which character is triggering the warning. When I select a different font, the warnings disappear. Maybe I can choose a similar font to replace the default. What is the name of the default font?

Make a copy of the project, delete all the application code and see if the warning goes away.
If it does, undo and only delete half of the application code, keep repeating until you find where the character is.

If the warning does not go away when deleting application code, try deleting half of the display pages until you find where it is.
