XC43 random R4:3 3:1:7 fault after upgrading to Design 7.03.25
After upgrading to IQANDesign 7.03.25 from 7.02.33, the XC43 module in our system shows "no contact" error, with R4:3 3:1:7 fault code blinking. The fault goes away after system restart, but randomly gets back after several restarts (cca. with 1:50 probability). Currently 2 of 15 identical systems shows the same issue. Reviewed the logs, the faults only came after the update (the machines were under tests for about 1-2 months with software made with IQAN Design 7.02.33). The firmware update to 2.02 was successful, as I see from module info.
MD4-7 - MC42FS - XC43 multimaster system.
We will tomorrow revert to IQANDesign 7.02.33. I hope the firmware reverts too from 2.02 to 2.01, as we have to deliver the machines soon.
Probable bug in XC4x 2.02 firmware?

I am only aware of one know of one case where this blink code shows; the first time after updating to 1.03 or newer.
When it happens in another situation, I think that a closer look at supply voltage during startup could be interesting. It can also be interesting to look for errors related to the VREF.
Downgrading IQANdesign to 7.02.33 solved the problem, as it reverted the XC43 firmware to 2.01.
Hope there will be a review and new firmware soon.
I don't have any good new leads on what might have triggered this error in your 7.03 application, but besides my comments on checking supply voltage and VREF it could also be interesting to look at the CAN bus.
Is the XC43 alone on the bus?
What is the cycle utilization? Bus speed? Number of I/O configured? This combined determine the bus utilization.
