When trying to measure with IQANRun 7, no items show up in measure groups

What communication interface are you using? 

How many items do you have in the measure groups? 

Does the measure groups have channels from different masters?

What is the cycle time (or cycle times) on the master module(s) ? 

One guess is that there could be a performance issue. 

Using Bluetooth with a G12.

Some measure groups are as small as 8 items.

There are 3 masters, MD4-7, MC43FS x2. Some measure groups have channels from multiple masters but the measure groups I am trying to use lately only contain channels from one MC43FS.

Cycle times are 20ms.

Thank you, that is good information. Measure groups with 8 items and 20 ms cycle shouldn't be a problem over Bluetooth. 

What are the number of items in the larger groups? Could it be that the problem comes when switching between measure groups? 

I was attempting to only access one measure group and the problem still occurs, even if I try to access only a small measure group.

The larger group has 35 items.

I have found too, if I open measure files with IQANRun 7, the top right menu button is no longer functional.

If I attempt to right click the graph area and use that menu, all items are greyed out and I am not able to click anything.

Thank you, I can reproduce both the problem with the measure menu being grayed out when opening a .irmx in 7.04, and the problem with online measure not starting in 7.04 after opening a .irmx. Used to work in 7.03.

I do not see the status of this topic updated but it appears you have agreed it is a bug.

Do you know when Parker will have a commitment on resolving this? It is quite cumbersome to be switching around versions of IQAN while testing on a system.

So far we've only been able to reproduce the two problems described in the comments:

-measure menu being grayed out when opening a .irmx in 7.04 

-online measure not starting in 7.04 after opening a .irmx

Still haven't figured out a way to reproduce the original problem, where you say no items show up in measure groups.

I was able to use a coworkers laptop and it did show the same problem as mine.

I don't believe the issue to be performance related because my laptop is pretty high spec'd

My laptop is:

Dell Precision 5560

Intel i9-11950H @ 2.6GHz Processor 

32GB Ram

Coworker's laptop is:

Dell Latitude 5430 Rugged

Intel i5-1135G7 @ 2.4 GHz Processor

16GB Ram

I downgraded back to 7.03 and I see all the items in the measure groups again.

I do not believe the size of the measure group is directly related to the problem because some of the smaller measure groups are missing items too.

Is there any more info I can provide?
