Please add the possibility of Bluetooth connectivtiy to IQAN Run for maintance purpose between Laptop and IQAN controller via G11 Bluetooth adapter.

Hi All,

Our customer base is getting larger and larger where we offer machines with a G11. The main issue always arises that most customers have mobile phones, few have tablets. IQANRun is only tablet / PC based and our customers keep asking for it on mobiles. This would be a big benefit to a lot of people.

For consistency reasons and short labels, you may have adjust items ( parameters ) with the same name in different adjust groups.

When in Iqan run reviewing actual settings it becomes impossible to know which one you are looking for,

My proposal is to have a possibility to organise the adjust items in the same way as in IQAN design adjust groups.

New GUI

IQANrun 7 has an updated user interface, more similar to IQANgo. 

Online operations System, Logs, Measure and Adjust are on tabs at the top of the window. 

Send operations such as send to machine and get clone are available with one click on the main menu. 

When clicking connect or selecting an operation that requires connection, a connect dialog is shown. The tab for last used interface is selected as default. 

Single adjust such as function parameters can be adjusted directly when entering the adjust group, giving better overview when adjusting. Click on value to type in or use +- buttons. 

Adjust items with multiple values E.g. COUT is presented in a more compact form.

IQANrun now shows confirmation dialog informing of firmware update.

It would be great to have the capability to edit a settings file.

To edit the parameter's Default and Current settings, while offline and remotely from the controller.

This would permit a large number of parameters to be changed easily, as well to cross check them as all parameters are visible in your spread sheet type of format.

This would give me (the Designer) the ability to send a modified settings file to a service technician in the field to send to the controller. This simplifies the service technicians tasks and reduces entry/adjustment errors at site where he/she may have limited communications with the factory/designer.

Iqan Run clones no longer pull settings I think a clone should be exactly that an identical copy of the software your cloning.

I would like a clone to pull settings regardless of security level

we set OEM settings at the factory and our dealers have less privileges so when they clone a display and send it to a new one none of the settings go with it

we really need a clone to be exactly the same!

This may be a long shot:

Memorizing channel values timer channel values excreta pulled into the clone

• Measure groups has to be set in IQANdesign before measuring in IQANrun. You cannot make your own measure groups in IQANrun anymore and thats a step backwards as it was a nice feature often used when troubleshooting/analysing machines.
• Auto scale scales all the curves in different scales. The curves does not gets the same scaling.
• Possibility to reverse the zoom steps is missing in graph.
• Filename not visible on saved measurement when looking at a graph.

Request to add ability to open more than one measure file at once. Useful when comparing two or more measure files.
