Communication impossible between Iquan MD4 and Iquan Design.
Unable to establish a connection between the screen and multiple computers equipped with the Iquandesign software (with an active license).
Upon startup, the screen displays a "safemode" message (software version: 4.07.7.1413).
Tests performed: installation of different drivers, firewall deactivation, scanning of various IP addresses (none seem to correspond to the Iquan). Packet exchange is visible on the Ethernet port, but nothing more. I am unable to identify the IP address corresponding to the screen.

To get it out of safe mode - put an address tag (resistor) that matches the address tag selected in the program. In safe mode you should be able to load the program but it will not start until the proper address tag is there.

After adding a resistor between pins 6 and 7 (R=0), the screen displays Lx(0) no contact Lx(0)ramd4-7(0):B
I try with R=1 and R= T1 i have this message : Wrong id tag
After this when i put the R=0 i have "critical" Expansion bus can bus error can bus-B
You don't need a terminating address tag on the MD4 as you can terminate it in the program. Make sure the can buses used are terminated in the MD4 program and at the other end of the bus.
I have made the modification in the software (adress = 0) , but the problem is that I have no visible connection to the "master." I am unable to retrieve the installed program or inject a new one, as it is not visible on the Ethernet connection module.
I have identified the IP address of the screen: 169.254.136.222. This IP address is not addressable in Iquandesign. What should I do?
Have you programmed before with this laptop? Make sure the firewall and virus protection aren't blocking communication (have exceptions for Iqandesign or are turned off). Are you plugged in to the C3 port?....C4 is only for cameras.
No, this is the first time with the computers I am working on, but my manager tried with his computer, which he has already used for programming, and the result is the same. All antivirus programs are disabled, and the exclusion has been correctly set on the Iquandesign folder. I'm on the C3 with the parker cable.
It should show up on the discovered modules tab when you send go to send the program from Iqandesign (Communication > Send Project). Make sure you are set to Ethernet under the communication menu as well.
I am in Ethernet mode, and it does not appear in the discovered modules in Iqandesign. In fact, the IP address is not being automatically assigned by DHCP.
