Configurable speed on diagnostics bus
With existing functionality, the Diagnostics CAN bus is fixed to 250 kbps.
To support faster software updates via CAN and larger multi-master systems, we are working on making the diagnostics bus speed configurable in IQANdesign. The configurable speeds we are looking at are:
-250 kbps classic CAN
-500 kbps classic CAN
-CAN FD with 500/2000 kbps
All master modules will be able to support 250 and 500 kbps.
Systems consisting of MD5 and MC4x will also support CAN FD.

I have identified a problem relating to Port D of the MD4-7 that is repeatable through IQAN 6 & 7. I have verified switching from our 500k bus on D to port B that these blimps on startup no longer occur on our given OEM chassis. Has this bootup procedure issue been addressed on the MD5 or does it still carry over?
The MD4 uses lower end CANbus chips for CAN C and D. I believe MD5 uses the same chips for all CANbus.
