Error "No master module found"

Hello! 

I'm trying to connect with MC4x controllers through IQANrun 6 and a PCAN dongle but I'm already stuck at the home screen. After I start IQANrun and select the correct communication interface (CAN), press Connect, I get this "No master module found" error.

  • I made sure to connect the dongle before starting IQANrun
  • The program seems to recognize my dongle:  Image 4843
  • When I hover over it, I see this: Image 4847
  • The LED on my dongle burns continuously
  • I've got a working license for IQANrun
  • It doesn't matter if I change communication device settings to "first available"Image 4846
  • IQANanalyze works fine: Image 4844

Any ideas?

When you get to "no master module found", that indicates that IQANrun got the adapter working and sent out CAN messages asking for modules on the bus, but had no response. 

An easy way to provoke a situation where you see this message is by uplugging the CAN adpater from the bus with the IQAN master module(s). 

So the next step should be to check what the CAN adapter is actually connected to.
