Issues with getting clone due to password protection

Why is it that getting a clone is password protected by the limited access password?

If you get a clone file and save it, you must use a password to open an view it. I think getting the clone file should not be password protected or it should have a separate option in IQANDesign whether or not to password protect getting the clone.

The only method for "get all logs" in IQANGo is to get a clone and select "yes" when getting all logs. We have been trying to make it standard practice to pull clones when there are issues with a machine in the field but the password protection is a problem for us.

We don't want to give everyone view access by providing our Limited Access Password but we would like people to be able to pull clones without our assistance so they can send them to us.

I have looked into the safe passwords but that solution is not feasible for us either.
