error connecting MDL2 by usb

My collage has a problem that I don't have an answer for.

I'm trying to connect the MLD2 to my laptop using IQANRUN2 software, but I'm having trouble establishing a connection.

Why isn't the connection working properly?

It feels like I can only connect once after trying about 20 to 30 times.

I also borrowed an other connecting USB cable and tried it, but the result was the same.

I will check if he has a USB-CAN dongle and connecting by CAN

From this error screen on the MDL2, I can tell this must be running version 2.x

If the module is updated to version 3.x, you would have a more detailed error code, including SW version.

When it is in this state, it does not matter which communication interface you connect to.

Use the button combination for bypass application ("safe mode" in instruction book) to start up without application.

That should help you get past this state.

If you have a 3.x version of this application, try updating to see if that solves the problem.
