MD5 - Bluetooth Crash when trying to measure
7.05.27, MD5-8, G12
Whenever I connect via Bluetooth via laptop and try to measure it disconnects.
I can make modifications to the program but trying to measure is impossible.

I recently ran into an issue where a modem that was on the network, which was supposed to be reading only, was crashing any connection I tried to make with the system. Probably not your particular issue, but if you have an outside device on that CAN network as well, maybe try unplugging it?
There is nothing else on the network.
The only way to communicate efficiently is ethernet.
Need to resolve before it goes to the field as we usually have to do some tweaking.
I am having the same problem with 2 different G12 modules on two totally different machines when connecting my computer via bluetooth. I experienced the same problem connecting via the Parker app for remote connection also.
Ron,
What error message do you see in IQANdesign? Is it a crash dialog or measure terminated?
Does it happen in all views in IQANdesign ? (application logic function groups, system layout, measure groups)
Does it work if you use IQANrun on the same laptop?
When connected to computer via Bluetooth, the error message is "D7 warning: Disconnected The connection to the Bluetooth device was lost." it takes about 30 seconds to lose the connection.
In Connect Remote, Using IQANgo via a cellular device, the error message is "D7 Warning: Disconnected, You have been disconnected from the remote system".
In both cases after selecting OKAY the Communication drop down is greyed out except for the Disconnect option. Selecting it does nothing. I have to restart IQAN design 7.05 to connect again.
It works a lot better remote Iqango than it does local bluetooth off laptop.
