Can't adjust PIN protected items; IQANrun 6.08.27
I have an app that was created in IQANdesign 6.08.32. It has multiple adjust groups. Each group is protected by a PIN according to whom should have access to the adjust items that have been included in the groups; MAINTENANCE & ENGINEERING. The PIN's are defined in the HeadMaster a MD4-5(0) with the majority of the Adjust Items in one of two MC43's; MC43FS(1) or MC43(2)
I'm using IQANrun 6.08.27 and can not make any adjustments to any adjust items. The PIN is accepted and allows me to see the Adjust Items, but always gives me a "operation was rejected by the remote system" while posting a dialog box that it is "storing parameters" simultaneously to where the fault occurs.
What is going on here? How do I fix this?

Those security settings will stop you from connecting to the system at all.
Here you are getting all the way to the adjust and then it stops working.
The only way i can think of to get this is if you reset the PCC channel after you go in to the adjust item.
Meaning you are inside the adjust group and something in your application is resetting your pin code channel so that you do not have permission to adjust anymore.
So check the application if you have anything resetting your pin code channels.

Andrew, I tried what you suggested but it makes no difference. I didn't think it would as I am not connecting to the machine from a remote location (using IQANGo etc). I am connecting to the machine's Diagnostic bus directly using a CAN tool and using IQANrun 6.08.27. I am still getting the message " The operation was rejected by the remote system.
MD4-5[0] (FW version 6.08.32)" as soon as I try to adjust the function parameter.
Thomas, you seem to be correct as far as the issue goes. I had a channel that used a timer to reset the PCC to prevent a "PIN Already Entered" lockup issue with the projects display pages. Once I removed it I can adjust items however none of my display page navigation works. I am not sure if I should continue this in the same thread, but am thinking it would be best to start a new one as far as the display page issue.
