Full on Firmware Update occurred repeatedly on IQAN 7.02

I've been experiencing a situation where I'm remotely sending an update to a machine's existing idax, updating say some input range differences, what I've noticed is that its consistently perform a full-on firmware update despite being no version change between uploads, resulting an upload process that should be 5-10mins to now 40-60mins give or take.

I've tried to figure out why remotely sending the project is triggering the firmware update but I'm not able to discern anything concrete as nothing critically different is occurring between the two iterations.

There are multiple versions of 7.02:

I have been caught out with this once or twice, when I use 7.02 to carry up updates to the application but realise the firmware is actually different because there are 3 versions of 7.02. A quick glance (and whn loading IQAN Design on the laptop from the start menu) makes you believe its 7.02, but could in fact be a different variation.

Have you checked the version data when connecting in IQAN Run compared to the version you developed the application in IQAN design? Click Help > About > (multiple press on the version number written in blue) should show you specific version numbers for each master module that may have changed:

Compare this to each module firmware in IQAN Run and could explain why you are having random firmware updates even though you are using 7.02.

Only other instances where I have noticed a firmware update on the same version is when some graphics have been changed and it needs to install an additional graphics library, even though its the same firmware. I had one recently because I added a PDF file to the application, even though it was the same firmware version it wanted to install a different part of firmware to support the pdf function.

Hopefully this helps!
