Isolating a Bidirectional COUT signal

Jeff Stephenson 3 weeks ago in IQANdesign updated by Thomas Moberg (System support) 2 weeks ago 2

Would there be a way to isolate a bidirectional current out so that our negative signal will not trigger an open load fault when not connected?

Make sure that one of the directional current out is never used in your software: it can be use a resistive shunt in order to do not have the open load fault...

You do have a Bidirectional option on the COUT channel.

Using that you will not trigger open load if the other direction is not connected.
