Ability to Filter through multiple FMIs under a single SPN
Currently when a DM1 message is received where a single SPN has multiple FMIs (low, moderate, and severe warnings) the IQAN system will only show one FMI when the channel is referenced and it is usually not the most severe one.
The request is to add the ability to reference all the FMIs under the SPN channel and/or have the SPN channel show the most severe warning when multiple FMIs are present.

What IQAN version are you using?
In 7.0 we made it so that up to three DTCs with the same SPN and different FMI can be shown, in the module info DM1 viewer, the DM1 log and the popup messages.

We are using IQAN 7.06. And I can see when the three DTC's arrive. I think the problem is the underlined text below.
To further expand on the issue. If I unplug the coolant level sensor on my engine, based on time delays within the engine logic, the first DTC that is sent is a Low Coolant Level Alert, shortly after a critical and an open load are sent.
My program looks at the value of the channel and determines whether I need to sound an Alert level alarm or a critical level alarm. Since the value of the channel is the first DTC received, in the example given above my program thinks its an Alert Level alarm. When in reality there is a critical level alarm also present, its just not the current value of the channel.
If the DTC was able to determine the highest priority and make that the active channel, my logic would work correctly.
Maybe there is a different way I should triggering my audible alarms?
If there are more than one DTC with the same SPN, the value of the DTC
channel is the first DTC (SPN+FMI) that arrives within the DM1. Up to three
DTCs with the same SPN and different FMI can be shown in the display
DM1 viewer, DM1 dialog boxes and the DM1 log.
