MC4X PWM LS Connection Only

I was wondering if its possible to drive an PWM output (snippet below) only through the PWM LS?

So for example can i use PWM HS+LS C1:14/C1:39 but leave the HS disconnected and just drive through the LS (C1:39) since current is around 40mA?

No, you will run in to issue with the open load detection.

If you do not have any load connected between HS and LS you will trigger the open load detection and the output will turn off.

Ok maybe i misread the manual then. Is there any way to use LS PWM by itself?

What are you trying to drive with this LS output?

Is it as a signal to another dirver?

If you look at this thread you can see how you can set that up by connecting a resistor between HS and LS and then connect the signal to the LS.
