Xc10 current controlled outputs

Can the XC10 pwm outputs be also used as current controlled? I looked at the documentation for the cm3620 module (i believe the xc10 is a re branded cm3620) and it has current sensing on the low side outputs. Is it possible to do current control for the pwm outputs, or at least is there a way to read the current on these resistors so I could do my own in app current control?

No, the XC10 outputs can only be used for open control PWM.

When we made the IQAN-XC10 out of the CM3620, we quickly realized that it could never match the performance of an IQAN COUT. The current measurement in the XC10 is used for open load detection, but is not accurate enough to make a good general purpose closed loop current control.

For functions where there are requirements on repeatable and accurate control of proportional valves, I recommend using a module with a COUT, e.g. an IQAN-MC4x or IQAN-XA2.
