IQANdesign 7.04 released
Faster startup of IQAN-MD5 modules
Application logic startup dropped from about 6 s to 3 s.
Display pages now show after less than 6 s.
Reduced size of project files with IQAN-MD5
File size reduced from about 100 MB to 50 MB
More resolutions for SOME/IP cameras
Video controls for "SV" camera now support more resolutions.
Note that cameras do not support all resolutions. The original IQAN-SV support previous resolutions and 1280x960.
SOME/IP cameras from other brands can be used as "SV" module since 6.08.32.

I just get an error on IQANdesign 7.04 with the simulator.
When clicking "OK" or the "X", the message stays and lock the soft.
Have to crash IQANdesign to restart.
Are you having that problem repeatedly?
Simulation started from IQANdesign? Or started from IQANsimulate and IQANdesign connected using measure?

I started simulation from iqandesign.
I stopped the simulation and start to upload a new image for the MD5, then it crashed. Maybe I have been too fast after stopping the simulation...
When I finish to update the controllers, on the message the green bar is not full, but stop at the middle :
For updating the MD5 from 7.02 (current version modules are shipped with) to 7.04.7, it is necessary to go via 7.03

Can you add the shortcut F6 to disconnect IQANdesign from the machine,
can help to connect with IQANrun fastly.
Or better ! Could you allow to adjust the settings directly from IQANdeisgn ?
No need to switch between Run and Design anymore !
IQANdesign version 7.04.8 released with an update for the MD5
Fixed.
I started 2 years ago a concept based on a MD4-7 with 2 analog sensors (voltage input).
The MD4 being soon no longer available, I started to change to the MD5-8,
and I just realized that there is no voltage input anymore.
Why?
Do you have an equivalent with voltage input ?
In the IQAN-MD5 family we have no voltage inputs on the module and you would need to add a controller for this.
For inputs, you have the possibility to add digital inputs or encoders on the IQAN-MD5's.
Is there a possibility to change this? I would really like if there were a few more I/O's on the display's rather than less.
Or else, we should have a none master display that is a display only, not a controller. That way we don't need an expensive display and controller that both have the processing power to run an application unnecessarily.
