MC41 blink 4R – 1Y – 12Y – 3Y – 1Y – 1Y

Regis 2 weeks ago in Master modules / MC4x updated by Gustav Widén (System support) yesterday at 12:22 p.m. 6

Hi all I hope someone can help me here,

We tried to update an MC41 via Design and it got stuck at the end of the "Rebooting" phase,

The blinking pattern on the module was : 4R – 1Y – 12Y – 3Y – 1Y – 1Y, and we could not reconnect to it.

Since the unit is rush, we shipped a new MC41 to our shop. After testing they realised some parameters weren't ok, so they went ahead and pushed Settings via Run.

Exact same thing happened : stuck with a full green bar on "rebooting" and pattern that our road guy saw (no video) was "4R - 13Y" but it might very well be the same

Is some of you have seen it before and might know how to resuscitate them ?

Thank you,

Got confirmation that it is indeed 4R – 1Y – 12Y – 3Y – 1Y – 1Y,  not 4/13

So it is apparently a error about the RAM being full, currently attempting to find a way to resurrect both my MC41

Just to let you all know, what we ended up to do is :

  • Boot in safe mode (remove the ID tag)
  • Send an almost empty program (maybe unnecessary)
  • Open our D5 program that was too big into D7 and saved it.
  • Ram usage passed from 510 to 387kb

Currently waiting from our road service guy to know if it works on the actual unit but I don’t see why it wouldn’t.

have you checked for reverse power feed on one of the outputs. if that occurs the module will go in safe mode
