IQANrun takes the first step to mobile devices. With this free version you can perform some basic functions like, viewing system status, logs, measure and adjust.
Today the app works with IQAN-MD4 and basically it allows you to do the same things as you can do in the IQAN-MD4 systems menu.
Future releases will come with Android versions and Pro versions will include more functionality such as SW update, settings viewer, save logs and graph measure.
Please see the attached presentation and press release for additional information.

IQANrun is a user friendly service tool for the IQAN series of controllers and displays. It enables service technicians or machine owners to connect wireless to IQAN modules in their machines, and perform actions such as check system status, view logs, measure in real time and change settings.
IQANrun is a powerful troubleshooting tool. It features a system overview function, where you quickly find module or I/O related alarms or errors. Here you will also find settings such as date/time and language, and module information such as serial number, software version and more.
View all logs (system, event and statistical) and their content. There is a filter function that lets you find what you're looking for fast and easy. And you can erase the content of a log when needed.
This is a powerful tool when you need to do more detailed trouble shooting, or just want to view the value on a certain input, output or internal channel. All measured values are presented with their corresponding unit and status, or graphically in a line graph.
IQANrun has a unique function for adjusting inputs, outputs and parameters in real time. It is also possible to reset a setting to its factory default value if needed.
We have customers that frequently remote onto machines using IQAN Run Pro for tablet to adjust parameters in the system. When adjusting the parameters, the reference channel is not displayed making it a very slow process as they have to go into measure then back to adjust groups to fine tweak.
The reference value works in IQAN Run for windows as shown, is it something i am doing wrong as I cannot get it to display on the tablet version?

We used to have a remote login option so somebody who had IQAN Run Pro on a tablet could access a machine at another location through IQAN Sync. Now we seem to have just WIFI or Bluetooth, no remote. Running IQAN Run Pro 6.00.8. Is there something I am missing?
IQANrun for tablets 5.02 is now available in App Store/Google Play. New features are:
- Pro features are now available as an in-app purchase also on Android
- Support for 5.02 project and clone files
- Password manager with support for safe passwords (for Android, added in 5.01 for iOS)
- Additional CSV file attached mail when sending log (for Android, added in 5.01 for iOS)
Another change is that Dropbox support has been removed. We recommend you use the built-in Files app on iOS or a file explorer of your choice on Android. These file managers have support for Dropbox and many other cloud storage providers, e.g. Google Drive, OneDrive, and iCloud Drive.
On iOS you will find your IQANrun folder under Locations > On My iPad > IQANrun. Use the Files app to move files to and from this folder.
On Android the same folder is found under (Internal memory) > Documents > IQAN Files. There are a number of file explorers available on Google Play if your Android device does not have one installed already, e.g. FX or Solid Explorer.
I have a customer that is getting a “Bag Load Failed” after he has connected to a G11 and been logging for about 10 minutes. Has anyone experienced this or know how to resolve? Listing is as a “Purchase error”. The customer is using the paid pro version to utilize logging.
Is there a way for me to access a list of firmware updates? I would like to see a list and a description of what was changed with each update. I have noticed that there have been a few firmware updates recently and I would like to know what is being upgraded. Also, is there a process if needed to downgrade firmware?
We have experienced Iqan run/Sync not showing on list of programs to open when exporting with dropbox. Has anyone found a simpler solution than coping files from download to internal storage to Iqan document folder? It used to be easy solution to click export and file would open Iqan Run or Sync your choice
Will there be a version compatible with 5.03 released soon? I'm heading to field testing with 2 new products next month and tend to use the app regularly to make changes to parameters... but just realized that the current version is not compatible with the S9 or 5.03!
