I have an application that uses a custom button to show other pages, but when I press this button the HMI hangs for a few seconds and then shows the requested page, how can I do to lessen that time or better eliminate it?

We are using HS output C2:51 DOUT G on an MC43 FS module, and we are getting open load errors displayed even though the setting 'DOUT under current detection' set to 'No'. I have downloaded the application from the system (because I wondered if the undercurrent setting hadn't been set correctly) and it was still showing 'No'.

Is this a bug or perhaps any other reason it could be causing problems? When energising the output using software we get no faults appear and the output states 'true' when measuring in IQAN Design. When we switch the output off, we get this error. We have a load of approx 100mA connected direct to ground.

We are using IQAN Design 5.04.8.5179, connecting MC43 via Ethernet.

When we connecting via Ethernet, start measure function does not show all channel status. Most of channels stay in grey color, and not showing its status.

It happens when the number of channels are too many. When only few channels in that group, the status will show. So, it looks like the data are not communicated between IQAN Design and the master module (MC43). Or data were overflow when too many channels showing at the same time.

In case an External Function includes an output of any type (perhaps also input, haven't tried) you can assign it to the module where the external function is being used (or slave module I suppose), change pin alternatives, etc (good feature).  But, I think you should allow edit its name, once asigned, so you can give them unique names. If I want to use that external funcion several times, I will get many outputs called identically, which is a mess. I Know automatic name can be set for outputs... but for efficient diagnosis is more or less the same. You want it to have a meaninfull name.

Would be nice if Text Parameter Channel tied to specific mode selector logic could display values such as math channel or feedback from sensor values.

Example:

SMC has 2 stages

1. Sensor OK
2. Sensor Failure

If sensor status is ok it would be nice for TPC to display its value however if sensor fails, regular text such as "Sensor Failed" would be used.

It would be even more cool is TPC had abilities to choose text/value color to be used on the display. 

Would be nice if there was an ability to import/export all the I/O data from a single project to (i.e. an XML based document?) this in order to be able to be imported in ECAD software like Eplan

Would be nice to select ( in this example) activating object simply by clicking on IDC in the logic area in addition to standard drop down list. 

In larger programs, list becomes very congested with available options. If (in this example) activating object we are after is in fact located on the same screen we could simply click on it. 

I like the current features of the master bus for shared information. 

I have written several programs that require multiple screens to work as if they were the same user stations. It would be great to have the VDINS added to the master bus so that the data can be shared. Currently I am having to dedicate a J1939 bus as well as write CAN frames each way for output and feedback to control VDINs. 

I have a project that is version 2.63 and need to upgrade it to 3.19.

Shouldn't be a problem, but when opening it in 3.19 all math functions become Real-type which i don't want, some should be integer. Is there a way to handle this without needing to change everyone manually? Its about 150 functions which would take forever and most certainly go wrong here and there. Also all of my generic parameters in and out becomes J1939 parameters instead. I want them to be generic parameters.

Is there a function where you can select a channel and then replace it with another? For example I select a math (real) channel and choose replace with math (integer) channel, keeping all the functions inside.

Otherwise Is there like a texteditor where you can open the project file and search and replace function codes?
