I have an old version of IQAN design 1.34.2 and when I try to get or send application the software immediately says the connection failed.  I have made this connection in the past but it seems like the software isn't is the right "mode" in order to connect.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We have an old MDL from a forest machine and need to put in a  new program for our new application.

What do we need to do this?

I am using 4.07.

I have an integer Match channel converting a Vin from an optional lever to a -100 0 100 output. This results in a -100 when the optional input isn't present. I put a dual object under the limiting column with a 100/0 and set it to Multiply[%] in an attempt to output 0 when the dual channel shuts it down. This has no impact on the output. 
Its got to be something simple here, but I am stumped.

This is a very small GUI bug but it would be nice if it could be fixed.

To reproduce:
Open an application with many chajnnels of the same type, for example more FGI than fits on one page.

Open the channel list and scroll down a few pages. Click the third channel from the top.

iQANDesign will now select the third channel on the first page, not on the page you are currently on.

We are in process to upgrade our IQAN Design to the latest version 6

we have a Creative Studio Licence and on the Iqan Store I dont know what to choose between:

DRS (Developer Bundle) which cost around 2300€ and include Design/Run/Script or Design 6 (1400€)

under Design 6, there is a text below: If you have an expired license for IQAN Creative Studio or IQANdesign 1.x you can upgrade to a subscription license here. 

So does it mean that under my Creative Licence, only Design will upgrade to version 6 or Run and Simulate will also follow to version 6?

I need some assistance please.  I want to memorise text from the J1939 TPIN, so they when the key is off (ie no J1939) then he text is preserved and disaplyed on the MD4-7 all the time.

The only way I can figure out to get the TPIN value into the Memorising channel is by using a state parameter channel first (SP) as this only accepts states for the text values.  Then I can get the text into the Memorising channel.  I use a IDC channel that looks at the PGN OK status to trigger the Memorising channel to Qreplace.  This stratey works fine for numbers, but not for text

BUT anytime the PGN in frame times out (ie key off), then all the text values go to blank including the Memorising channel, through that entire signal chain.  If I disable the Timeout on the PGN input, then it works, but the project now has yellow warnings for no Timoueouts and this is a messy solution.  

Can anyone please advise how to get J1939 TPIN values Memorised when the datalink is off (and all messages timeout)

Is there a way to use VDIN buttons (obviously not using the toggle feature) to raise and lower a function parameter by the given step size instead of using the slider? 

I have a integer parameter that represents the address of a piece of equipment(MD4 is master) at a site.  There are other identical pieces of equipment at the site that will have different addresses(saved as integer parameters). (all using the same Project)

My issue is, that if someone clones (with settings) the Project from one piece of equipment and loads it into a different piece of equipment, both pieces of equipment will have the same address.  

These pieces of equipment get paired, wirelessly, with common control devices(using J1939), so they have to use the same Project with the MD4 address.  

So, is there a way to stop a parameter value from being copied through a clone(with setting) to a different MD4?

Ideally I would like the parameter to be set to the default until someone goes into the adjust menu and sets it.

If there was a way to stop all parameters from being copy using cloning for this Project, that would be ok too.

I need to directly display the user interface pages to the touch screen.

How can I connect my project to the touch screen?
