I have a bit of an odd question. what waveform would a 0-5vdc input be a square or a sine?

I have to work with IQANdesign5.04 and IQANdesign6. Both software are installed on my computer. Before I could open two application the same time by open IQANdesign and open a second application by just double clicking on windows explorer. 

Function groups, channels etc. could be easly moved by cut and past from one application to the other. 

Regarding th CM0504 module. What is the time to trip for the 25A current limit? If a motor is powered and spikes above 25A, will cause the module to fault? And will it recover?

We a lot of machines out in the field that still has MDM's that were programmed with the old IQAN develop. Our company is upgrading all of our laptops to Windows 10, am I going to have issues with any of the software for the older machines? We use design 2.63 on a lot of machines and develop on a smaller amount. Any insight into what will work and what won't would be a great help.

I'm having trouble connecting the G11 to a MD4.

the bus i use is B, wiring checked, resistors checked.

security setting on always allow

but still no contact whith the G11

the status LED sends waiting signal

i made a can reading but it looks like that there is no reaction from the G11 because there is no difference in date when the G11 is disconnected

the last time i used this G11 is about 2, 2.5 years ago, is it possible that it does not work with design 5?

or is it just broken?

Is there a way to manually reboot an MD4?  Somehow the program is stuck on the start up page and will not proceed to operational pages.

There is already an appointment at the IQAN Design 6 is available?

I am looking into using the CM0504 High Current Controller Module. The Users guide says that there is a diagnostic tool that is used to configure it. Where can I find that software?

Will there be a version compatible with 5.03 released soon?  I'm heading to field testing with 2 new products next month and tend to use the app regularly to make changes to parameters... but just realized that the current version is not compatible with the S9 or 5.03!

i have noticed, and now a customer has brought it to my attention, that his dashboard isnt showing connectivity status on the asset dashboard. this seems to be happening across multiple org pages. here is an example from one of mine:

Notice no online or offline status is showing. I know for a fact that this gateway is online as it is part of a demo at OTC.

Also, none of the assets (there are 2 in this org) are showing up on the fleet overview page:

I have informed my customer that this does not indicate whether or not the gateway is malfunctioning, but to me it simply seems to be a bug of some kind. I dont wish to tell my customer that there is a bug, but I dont really know what else to say. Their gateways are monitored on a daily basis to compile reports and any mishap is documented. These gateways for this customer were bought on a grant that requires them to report on energy savings, battery life length, etc and any service interruption (or appearance of such) is documented. They are of the opinion that the portal is not quite polished enough to warrant an increase in purchasing. 

What I need is a little help in understanding why things such as this occur, and any ways to optimize the portal experience so as to reduce instances of the aforementioned problems.
