Log Scrolling

Drew 7 years ago updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 7 years ago 3

I have created a an event log in my MD3 project. On the display, if there are multiple pages worth of log entries, an arrow appears. For example there is a little arrow on the right indicating that I can scroll down for more logs. When I push the down button, nothing happens, but when I push the up button, it moves to the next page. Is there a way to correct the direction of the log scrolling, or do I have something configured wrong.

How To Have More Than One DM1?

Carl 7 years ago 0

Hi Guys,

If I send a DM1 CAN message (PGN 65226) I get all good in CANAnalyzer.

How do I Send another at the same time and have it also appear? I have tried switching the two DM1 Outputs off alternatively but nothing changes in the analyser detection part, only the data stream changes.

What's the correct way to send out multiple DM1's at the same time????

I have an MC2 controller where the troubleshooting LED is staying on and not blinking. Is there a reset sequence for this?

XC23 Connector Number Issue?

Kevin 7 years ago updated by Ulrik Zakariasson (Software development) 6 years ago 2

We have noticed the connector numbering appears to be incorrect when using XC23 modules, this fault seems to come up when we have a VIN or DOUT error and it displays the affected pin number on the module. The error states the correct pin number, but the connector number (C3) is incorrect. Not sure if DOUT error is the same on XC22 module.

Use bluetooth as a key or some kind of trigger for machine

Fredrik Forsberg 7 years ago 0

Hello,

It would be nice to be able to use the G11 bluetooth paired a e.g. smartphone as a key and/or for triggering functions.

It would be nice to use a paired phone as a key for our machines.

Or maybe as an elevated security level with the use of both the key and a paired smartphone to be able to start the machine.

Kind Regards

Fredrik

Iqan cloud server to save work results

Tuomas 7 years ago 0

Cloud server where to save your Iqan work results (maybe part of Iqan sync app) would be super! Something like this:

WNexus Cloud Service

https://www.tamtrongroup.com/en/productcat/information-management/

Our online service offers tools for versatile weighing information management, reporting, and analysing.

• Secure and easy-to-use cloud service
• Weighing information is automatically transferred from the scale to the server using GPRS
• Transparent and simple reporting between parties
• Option to set individual user rights
• Combining weighing information from multiple sources as an option: for example in a port environment, information from our container stacker scales, straddle carrier scales, and truck scales can be combined

G11 no CAN contact but tablet/smartphone communication

C. Drouaud 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 1

Hi,

I'm doing some tests on a MC43 and G11 antenna. I managed to update the program in the MC43 through IQANSync with smartphone (so thanks to G11).

I also connect to IQANRun Free with the tablet, I can see parameters from the MC43, but it says that there is non contact with G11. How can it be possible because I know this thanks to the G11 antenna ?

Can it be a programming problem ou physical problem ?

Thanks for your answers.

Thanks a lot!

Answer

In the System layout, when you click on the Generic or J1939-Bus.
You can combine J1939 with Diagnostic, Master and Expansion-Bus aslong it's set to 250kb/s.

Voltage inputs automatically offset by VREF supply?

Kevin 7 years ago updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 7 years ago 2

We are using ratiometric voltage sensors for an application, by selecting the reference voltage (A or B) on the controller input, does this automatically offset the VIN with the VREF supply fluctuations?

We know that because the sensors are ratiometric the supply to the sensor will cause the signal emitted from the sensor to change slightly. We have achieved this using code in the application, however i'm just checking the controller does not compensate for this automatically without the need for user configured code? I would imagine it does not do it automatically because there is no option to select its a ratiometric or normal regulated sensor connected to the VIN.

Perhaps this could be a feature we see in a future IQAN Design? I know we would find it useful instead of having separate code. Provided of course the variation % on a ratiometric sensor output is the same for different manufactures of sensor, if they are different, maybe an option to enter some values?
