If a system gets switched off or becomes disconnected suddenly (interrupted Bluetooth) during measure in IQAN design, I have noticed that measure still remains active and design wont let you do anything until the measure icon is switched off. Initially took me a while to see what was happening as the comms toolbar (I was attempting to reconnect) was greyed out until the measure was unlatched. See measure icon below still active after disconnect and browsing to a page in the logic.

Weirdly it displays a simulator error after disconnect even though its actual hardware I was connected to:

If you disconnect manually using the comms menu it unlatched the measure, would be helpful if it did this also with comms failure.

IQAN Design 7.04

Ive saved a simulation file with specific parameters and input/output values but, they dont seem to reliably save. The process here was to run a simulation from design6, setup the parameters in simulate6, then stop the simulation and save. If I run the simulation again, using the file (usually from the last used simulation), sometimes it maintains the parameters but, many times it reverts or changes on a whim. Am I missing something here or is this a bug?

The use case here is that, as our programs grow more complex there is frequently significant setup to get the program to an operating state. IE enabling estop circuits, eliminating alarms, setting inputs to reasonable operating ranges. Being able to save the simulate file with these parameters would save that setup time each time and make it easier for other users less familiar with the program (IE service or techpubs) to simulate what our end users are seeing.

i am getting system messages that say the xc22 module isn't found. then it powers up and works but messages doesn't go away. highly annoying for operators

Is functionality being added to another software to fill this gap now that IQANanalyze is being depreciated?

I would like the ability to import a DBC file (exported from design) into iQANanalyze so that I can easily see what PGNs are actually on the bus, but not accounted for in my design program.

When calibrating the minimum and maximum settings of proportional solenoids, the millivolt (mV) value shown in the reference items may occasionally freeze, resulting in a misleading reading. I’ve found that exiting and then re-entering the adjust group refreshes the reference value and resolves the issue.

I wonder sometimes how long a download will take and the progress bar can sometimes be a bit misleading.

Can we have the total kb to be sent displayed alongside the kb already sent? This will make it easier to judge how much longer it will take. When downloading through Bluetooth it would be nice to know if it was likely to be one hour or five! This image is in Run, but maybe could be ported across to Design as well?

Hi, There are many function groups, I rewrote a function group. Can I run the other one without deleting that group? Or how can I deactivate that old function group?

Hello, does the Timer channel send data only in 50 mS? Can we reduce this? We want it to do it more frequently. How can we do this?
