I have machine running in 2.63 version. I want to update them with a program (very similar to the one in 2.63 - same parameters) in 5.04. Big update !

How can I memorize all the settings from the machine in 2.63 to get them back in the 5.04 version of the program ?

The only solution I found was to check in the 2.63 version every settings to see if they are different from the default value and if so, change them manually after the upgrade in 5.04. It should work but it is not easy and takes a long time (50+ parameters). 

Do you have an idea of how I could do this ? I try to Get settings in 2.63 IQANrun but they are not read in IQANrun 5.04...

Hello everyone, 

I changed my computer so I needed to reinstall all IQAN software (version 2, 4 and 5). 

It looks like I have driver issues because I cannot connect to an IQANmodule. I followed steps in manual (close IQAN software and connect an IQAN module but it does not detect the driver. USB is detected but not recognized. 

Where can I find driver file to manually install it ?

I have a problem. I'm trying to load project file to the unit but I get error message that "In order to upgrade the MD4-5 to version 4.00 and later the module must first be upgraded to at least version 3.17". How do I do that? I've tried with three different versions of the project file but I guess they all are version 4.00 or later. I've tried this with IQAN run 4.03, 4.07 and 5.xx and I get the same error message every time.

I bought IQAN Connect licenses that I downloaded on my computer. When trying to connect via Internet, I have A License Status : Unknown. I can't click on License status to update the license, the link doesn't seem to work. 

I also tried to open the license file with IQANRun and IQANDesign with no more success.

How can I do to use the remote assistance ?

We got a question from our service guys that when they upgrade a program on a system to the latest revision that this particular version is asking for one of the usernames and passwords from the security section. Not the limited or full password but a user one.

The only thing I can think would cause this is I added an adjust item in this latest revision that requires the user login from above. Could programming a previously programmed system that DIDN'T have said adjust item(requires user login to change) to a version that now has said adjust item cause the individual programming the truck with IQANrun need to login with a security user/pw ?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but we had an issue in the field where a new program was uploaded to a multi-master system.  The system has two MD4 displays (one -7 and one -5) connected on a master bus.  The new program was sent via IQAN Run. After the upload, all the stored settings for the MD4-5 reverted to their default values.  The PC was connected directly to the MD4-7 with the MD4-5 connected via CAN bus.  Re-loading the previous clone file did not resolve the issue.  This created quite an issue because service personnel do not have access to the "master" settings of the machine.  Does anyone know how this could have happened?
