Operational Log???

Zach Dockter 8 years ago in IQANrun updated 8 years ago 2

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to create an operational "pick" log for any equipment.

I've been trying to come up with a good solution, but I am having a difficult time. Each entry is logged when the user presses a button on the screen. All of the values are based on sensors on the unit, I am just trying to figure out how to store/display the values. It also would be great if it would work as a First in First Out type of process.

Error in saving measure file into excel

Frank GUO 9 years ago in IQANrun updated by Angus Brown 8 years ago 5
Hi,

When I save the measure file into excel, it shows 'excel found unreadable content'. After recovering the contents by excel, all the channel names are disappeared.

Here is what shows in excel repair:
Removed Part: /xl/sharedStrings.xml part with XML error. (Strings) Illegal xml character. Line 65, column 19.Removed Records: Cell information from /xl/worksheets/sheet1.xml part

I am using IQANrun 3.17.4.3590.

Regards,
Frank

The possibility to configure the G2 modem via a master module using USB/Ethernet

Huddig Daniel 9 years ago in IQANrun updated by Ulrik Zakariasson (Software development) 8 years ago 2
It is only possible via CAN-connection today and all of our service dealers are using USB.
Since Ethernet probably will be the preferred conection in the future, configuring the modem via the master would be a good solution going forward aswell.

Bug fixes

Large logs (>65536 rows) is not handled with xlsx-format
Fixed.

Get settings script action only works once
When getting settings multiple times using script the settings was appended each time causing the saved settings file to grow. Sending such a file would still result in the correct settings.
Problem solved.

Colors in IQANrun for measurements

Jan Gillesen 9 years ago in IQANrun updated by Ulrik Zakariasson (Software development) 8 years ago 4
Do other users of IQANrun have trouble changing the background color of the measurement page? I would like to set it to white (easier for print) but when I do the colors of my measurement lines disappear, or invert color when I try a different color than white... Is this a regular problem or maybe something with my graphics-card /-driver?

Currently I have no other option than changing it back to black background to see my lines properly.

Auto-save measure files in IQANrun

Jan Gillesen 9 years ago in IQANrun updated by Ulrik Zakariasson (Software development) 7 years ago 5
We sometimes lose our measure data when accidentally navigating to an adjust group or another page directly after doing measurements. An auto-save function, or a pop-up when stopping a measurement would be very helpful.

It would also be useful to add more metadata to a file, for instance Machine ID, software version, time stamp or certain machine settings.

IQAN Run Glitch?

Kevin 9 years ago in IQANrun updated by Ulrik Zakariasson (Software development) 9 years ago 5
When we use remote access to a machine with a G2 modem and adjust variables IQAN Run crashes 50% of the time. It seems to change the adjust but when clicking on adjust button on the left after setting the new parameter it crashes IQAN Run completely?

Software Roll Back

Nick Pridham 8 years ago in IQANrun updated by Gustav Widén (System support) 8 years ago 5

Hi, is it possible to roll back from 3.xx to 2.xx. I tried starting in safe mode but this did not work.

The requirement is generated due to working with different clients who are at different stages field software usage. I only have one MDL2 for testing and just wanted to be able to go back and forth with software OS's.

Thanks

Nick
