md4 wil not take logs when I send clone
MD4 does not update its logs when I send the clone file.
- The clone file contains logs.
- This clone file is from version 4.05.
- My IQANrun is version 4.07.
- I am logged in as Superuser, and I also tried other levels.
- I tried sending a blank ida file, also tried sending other clone files without success.
I'm replacing a damaged MD4 on a machine, and now I'm losing all of the machine's statistics and events. The new MD4 actually previously had version 4.07 installed.
I was planning to send the clone with logs (4.05), then send a new IDA at version 4.07.
How many computers can I install the software on?
I have several computers that I use in the same shop. Can I install IQAN software on all of them?
Ethernet IP range
Hi,
Is it possible to expend the allowed IP addresses to all IP addresses not just intranet ones?

Software Compatability Protection
Maybe this is already in IQAN, but in that case I wouldn't know how: How to avoid the Service-guy from accidentally loading an incomptable version into a MC2/3/4?
Example. We have a 2017 machine with a "Chassis MC2". Next year we make the same machine, same "Chassis MC2", but with a different 2018 program. Because the machines look the same, it's easy to make a mistake and load the 2017 program into a 2018 machine, or vice-versa.
Would it be possible to define a certain "Program ID" or "Family" value in IQAN-Design? And then when uploading a newer version, to let IQAN check this tag first. If different, IQAN should warn (but still allow eventually if you are 100% sure).
Project-View panels hidden
Just started an IQAN (ida4) with IQAN-Run 4.06. So it automatically opens the "Project View" tab, but I couldn't see anything but the left "Project Manager" list (see screenshot). Turns out the other middle/right panels were on the far right, beyond the borders of the screen. After minimizing/maximizing the screen, I eventually saw the drag-borders to restore the sizing.
Once restored, I could restart IQAN-Run without trouble. So I guess it had something to do with first-time usage.
However, I can't explain this through the phone to service people using IQAN-Run, they generally don't know much about computers. Besides fixing this issue, a "restore workspace" button (like IQAN-Design also has) would be nice.
Using a Windows 8.1 laptop here, resolution 1600 x 900, single screen.
IQAN MDL2 - Parker display
I bought the IQAN MDL2 display, but i really didn't know it was a blank unit. Anyone can help me for program installation? or some instruction what i can do on the display, please?

Possibility to select controller in IQANrun System overview
In our applications, we have an MC2 and an MD4 working as stand-alone controllers.
All data between these two is send via custom J1939 frames. this works very well for our application.
However when I'm in IQANrun and connect with a CAN-interface, all I can see is the MC2 in the System info.
When sending an update, I can choose between modules.
I would like the option to select the module when in IQANrun system diagnostics.
Startup image not loaded by sending clone with IQAN run 3
Startup image is not loaded after sending clone file to MD3 or MDL2 with IQAN run 3.
Display Pages in IQAN Run
I'm working with an OEM that is interested in using IQANRUN to view the clone file of a machine to be used by their service department for troubleshooting. IQANRUN seems like a good choice as changes to the original program are not allowed. However, the issue that I have run into is the display pages are not shown in IQANRUN. The service department uses the display pages regularly to help their customers navigate to specific screens over the phone. Would it be possible to add in the display pages to IQANRUN? Another alternative would be to have an easy way of launching IQANSimulate to step through the displays?
