Maybe this is already in IQAN, but in that case I wouldn't know how: How to avoid the Service-guy from accidentally loading an incomptable version into a MC2/3/4?

Example. We have a 2017 machine with a "Chassis MC2". Next year we make the same machine, same "Chassis MC2", but with a different 2018 program. Because the machines look the same, it's easy to make a mistake and load the 2017 program into a 2018 machine, or vice-versa.

Would it be possible to define a certain "Program ID" or "Family" value in IQAN-Design? And then when uploading a newer version, to let IQAN check this tag first. If different, IQAN should warn (but still allow eventually if you are 100% sure).

Just started an IQAN (ida4) with IQAN-Run 4.06. So it automatically opens the "Project View" tab, but I couldn't see anything but the left "Project Manager" list (see screenshot). Turns out the other middle/right panels were on the far right, beyond the borders of the screen. After minimizing/maximizing the screen, I eventually saw the drag-borders to restore the sizing.

Once restored, I could restart IQAN-Run without trouble. So I guess it had something to do with first-time usage.

However, I can't explain this through the phone to service people using IQAN-Run, they generally don't know much about computers. Besides fixing this issue, a "restore workspace" button (like IQAN-Design also has) would be nice.

Using a Windows 8.1 laptop here, resolution 1600 x 900, single screen.

I bought the IQAN MDL2 display, but i really didn't know it was a blank unit. Anyone can help me for program installation? or some instruction what i can do on the display, please?

In our applications, we have an MC2 and an MD4 working as stand-alone controllers.

All data between these two is send via custom J1939 frames. this works very well for our application.

However when I'm in IQANrun and connect with a CAN-interface, all I can see is the MC2 in the System info.

When sending an update, I can choose between modules.

I would like the option to select the module when in IQANrun system diagnostics.

Startup image is not loaded after sending clone file to MD3 or MDL2 with IQAN run 3.

I'm working with an OEM that is interested in using IQANRUN to view the clone file of a machine to be used by their service department for troubleshooting. IQANRUN seems like a good choice as changes to the original program are not allowed. However, the issue that I have run into is the display pages are not shown in IQANRUN. The service department uses the display pages regularly to help their customers navigate to specific screens over the phone. Would it be possible to add in the display pages to IQANRUN? Another alternative would be to have an easy way of launching IQANSimulate to step through the displays?

May you suggest how a user with low rights may send a complete Settings File to a controller if he/she does not have high enough rights?

For example, An Adjust Items exist within an Adjust Group which requires Superuser level access. How may the designer permit changes to these Adjust Items to a user with low level access. These Adjust Items requires an expert to set, and I want to prevent incorrect data entry by a non-expert. I would like to provide this non-expert with a Expert prepared Settings File.

What is the standard sim pin configured in the IQAN G2/G3 modems? Knowing this we can put that code on our simcards

Trying to retrieve clone file from machine but keep getting error for application mismatch. The error is described as " No corresponding application exist for the firmware being loaded " .The ida file in the machine is fully updated to the newest version along with our IQAN Run. Any thoughts? Thank you!
