Today(7/25/2022) I opened IQAN design 6.08 and I tried to access the "Iqan Home Page".  I was first redirected to my Default Browser and blocked by because of a potential hazard due to invalid certificate.  Then eventually landed on a Very generic Parker page which does not even recognize the word IQAN in the search....

I would like to ask for help or advice regarding my problem,

I would like to download apps from my old iqan mdm because the display is broken. I am using Iqan Develop 4.03 with a "change" license and I have a problem with the connection between the computer and the module. Program shows No response from iqan develop error. I changed various com port settings, but it did not help, I use an rs232 usb (Unitek) adapter, I have drivers installed. The adapter has an FTDI chip and I also uploaded the FTDI drivers but still nothing. In my computer I also have an RS232 input, but it works on win 10 and the system does not detect devices connected to the RS232 input in the computer. I have the original iqan-mdm diagnostic cable. On one side of the cable is an RS232 plug and on the other side is a round 8 pin plug that enters the mdm module. I would like to ask the forum for help because it is a very important matter for me. I ran into a issue where I was unable to drag functional parameters from the programming area into an adjust group. I figured out if I open the adjust items I could then drag from there. this was just never an issue before.

Recently have been working on the system with MD3 and had to enter DM1/FMI for Scania engine. I have found it very tedious task and thought that it could be improved. Most of the engine manufacturers publish DM1/FMI in pdf format that can be easily converted to Excel spread sheet for easy configuration and hope simple add on to IQAN Design for automatic DM1/FMI entry process from the spread sheet would eliminate/improve this job.

FYI Dana Spice publishes their DM1/FMI list already in spread sheet for their transmission controllers.

Any hope or any comments?

I want to use an IQAN MC43 to control a VFD. The VFD can be controlled by either a 4-20ma signal or a 1-10v input.

What would be the best way to do this using an MC43? Doesn't seem to be too many CANOpen to 4-20 ma devices that I can find.

We are having a issue that I believe is a recent issue. We've built 1000's of units and we've only experienced it recently(no service reports either). Also on this same unit we started using IQAN 6.08 but our production units are on 5.08 (have XC10's).

Anyway on this unit we have 3 different display pages, each one for a different layout of cameras(see images). If we switch the screen a couple times we can get it to start flashing as if its trying to display the other page then back(see vid - . IMG_0584.mov). If we switch to other screens and back its fine again.

We are going to do a measure group of the 'active display page' to see if its something we did. We don't have a production unit(IQAN 5) with a 4 camera system as I want to check out one of those too.
