
Step size real
Hello,
The minimal step size off a real number is 0,01 if I understand correctly. So this means the smallest adjustment through iQan Run for example is 0,01. Is there a possibility to change this and make it smaller? Or is there a workaround?
Can you explain why this is minimal 0,01?

variant files issues
Issues with variants.
1. no examples !!! so i tried
2. It wasn't working, lots of errors, so i backed out
version 6 shows no errors, version 7 is litter with errors on same code
3. not sure how to make a variant i copied and pasted to create a new variant

Printing pressure transducer readings from MD4 display
For a customer application, they want to print pressure transducer readings that are stored in a MD4 without the need of a laptop. In searching for solutions, some people have suggested to have a gateway and a serial port printer. I am unsure of how to implement logic to communicate with a serial port printer. If anyone has insight on this, that would be greatly appreciated.

Calculation Order (migration to V7)
If I want to migrate a project from V6 to V7; and I change the order of one component in a function group, then all components "fall back" to a "standard" order (the same way the Auto order function works).
Can anyone confirm if this is a bug or normal phenomenon?

Different min/max values for adjust items depending on mode
It would be nice if the min/max values and step size on adjust items could be changed based on the mode selection. The default value can be different depending on the mode but not these other 3 settings for the adjust item.

IQAN 7.01: the font lacks characters

I have just switched a project on IQAN design and I get the following warning:
Is this a bug? This is the same issue no matter what font I selected.

IQAN 6 association with IQAN 5 files
How to I disable IQAN 6 from automatically associating IQAN 5 design files.

Analog Throttle Control - Mechanical Engine
Firstly Can the Polarity of Two Outputs be Reversed in order to Change direction of a Motor ? If not i can used a single digital output via two relays to reverse the polarity !
I would like to fit a Potentiometer controlled throttle to my machine , I would have a 5V input for the Throttle Request and the Linear actuator im going to use has a feedback potentiometer installed to give me actual Throttle Position , Can some help with the code to do this , When the Throttle is increased in the cab the Mc42 Needs to output 12V till it reaches the actual on the linear Actuator - The linear actuator needs to always equal what is requested in the Cab -The Actuator requires reverse polarity to Retract
Can someone please help with the PID loop / code to make this happen ?

Bluetooth Transmission among Parker ECM's
In the future, could the G11/G12 Bluetooth be used to connect two MC4X ECM's together on a machine instead of CAN? Essentially allow messages to be created and sent to the other Parker ECM via Bluetooth. I could see this applicable with machines that have high flexibility joints or swivels with slip rings.
