Wrong IdTag! Error on MD4

Our system runs with a MD4, 3 MC3s, and an XC21.
On two separate machines now (with identical systems) we have received customer reports of an issue of the IQAN system stopping functioning during machine operation.
On the MD4, the screen will say STOP System Message: IQAN-Master Wrong IdTag! system
I have been told that power cycling will not fix the issue. The only way to resolve is to unplug the Deutsch connector from the back of the MD4 and then plug it back in.
This is an intermittent issue. The machines can run 100+ hours before the issue repeats.
The customer was advised to check resistance on the ID Tag (resistance was correct) and to check the pins and wiring condition at the MD4 for any anomalies or corrosion (nothing identified).
Do you have any guidance on this issue?

I think that inlcuding an internal battery would be interesting in order to maintain RTC values.

Hello,
If you adjust backlight in the MD4 higher then 70% the screen brightness gets unstable starts vary in brightness up and down.

Abnormal white screen after startup on MD4

Has anyone else experienced a completely white screen on an MD4 after start-up but application file seems to work properly? The problem is very intermittent, it happened approximately three times during a week of testing a prototype (perhaps 100 boot up cycles).
Cycled ignition key off and back on to rectify.

If you use the Asus WL-330NUL Router for wireless connection, is it acceptable to power this from Vref+ or do we have to provide a separate 5v power supply?

I have a MC31 setup than is behaving unexpectedly. Some I/Os seem wrongly mapped in the software. When I toggle Dout J, the pin C1:17 does not change state, but outputs F-G-H-I seem to work normaly.
Also, reference A (on pins pins C2:1 and C2:2) is not providing 5V (in fact, I see 0V between those pins). Any analog sensor connected to this ref is obviously not working.
This is using SW 3.16.8.3850.
Please advise.
